National Sales Executive - Plastics

Job Summary: Alphapointe is seeking a business-to-business National Sales Executive to focus on new account development for their Kansas City Plastics Division. Responsibilities include prospecting, proactively calling on new customers, conducting discovery meetings, presenting solutions, and achieving revenue goals. Alphapointe provides sales training which includes sales process and business development strategies as well as product knowledge.

Essential Functions:

  • Prospecting for new business on a national level.
  • Generating revenue.
  • Developing and implementing key sales and marketing strategies to secure new customers.
  • Identifying new items to introduce into the marketplace.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • 5+ years business to business outside sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Desirable degree fields include marketing or business administration.
  • Preferred experience includes selling plastic packaging products such as prescription medicine bottles or plastic spray bottles.
  • Experience calling on C-Suite executives.
